Noaman Sanni M.D.
Dr. Noaman Sanni completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious University of Chicago Hospitals where he had the honor of being selected as Chief Resident. He went on to do his Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship under some of the pioneers in the field at St. Louis University, Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute.
Before starting in ophthalmology, Dr. Sanni completed three years of training in internal medicine. Dr. Sanni was one of the first surgeons performing Lasik and Intacs in the Syracuse and Watertown areas. His fellowship in refractive surgery gives Dr. Sanni a distinct advantage over other surgeons in the area.
Philip ‘Skip’ Edie
Skip is an experienced healthcare executive with functional experience in situations involving organizational transformations, turnarounds, or retrenchments. Skilled in Operations Management, Physician Relations, Management, Software Documentation, and Healthcare. Strong business development professional with an MBA focused in Healthcare Management. Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Skip oversees all day-to-day operations to ensure business goals are met and working closely with physicians and managers to develop and execute new business strategies.
Debra A. Koloms M.D.
Dr. Debra Koloms completed her ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Loyola/Hines University where she had the honor of being a representative to the Chicago Medical Society. She has provided missionary work as a volunteer of F.O.C.U.S. in Nigeria. Dr. Koloms has vast experience in the medical and surgical treatment of all eye disorders. Her surgical experience includes a large number of cataract extractions, corneal transplants, strabismus, glaucoma, refractive, and LASIK procedures.
Dr. Koloms is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. She is a member of several professional organizations such as The American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, Medical Society of Jefferson County, and the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Koloms is on staff at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville, Carthage Area Hospital, Carthage, Claxton Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg, NY and E.J. Noble Hospital in Gouverneur.
Grace Y. Burke O.D.
Dr. Grace Burke received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Emmanuel College in Boston and her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Burke has worked as a Senior Research Assistant in Basic Ocular Research at Harvard Medical School, as well as, in the field of Neurobiology at Tufts New England Medical Center. Dr. Burke is a contact lens specialist. She has conducted Phase III Clinical FDA contact lens trials and is also FDA certified in corneal refractive therapy.
Dr. Burke is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Optometric Association, New York Optometric Association, Northern New York Optometric Association, and Massachusetts Optometric Association. She has served as President of the Northern Optometry Association and currently serves on the New York Optometry Board.
Jordan N.Hess P.A.
Jordan Hess received his Master’s Degree of Physician Assistant Studies from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors and was accepted into Pi Alpha, the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. Mr. Hess holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Hess has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army where he treated and managed patients from the battlefield to the hospital.
Mr. Hess is actively involved in clinical and surgical care of Center for Sight patients. Mr. Hess provides medical management and care of patients with a wide range of medical conditions to include dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Mr. Hess conducts triage, new patient referrals, urgent care appointments, and post-operation evaluations. Mr. Hess assists the surgeons on various surgical procedures, and performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Dysport, and filler injections.
Mr. Hess is one of only 94 physician assistants in the nation specializing in ophthalmology.
AleXANDER M. CHOP M.D. PH.d.
Dr Chop is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 30 years, specializing in cataract and glaucoma surgeries. His Ophthalmic interests include diabetic eye disease, age related macular degeneration, and ocular surface disease (OSD). Dr Chop is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases or trauma of the eye such as corneal tumors, retinal disorders, conjunctivitis, astigmatism and ocular tumors. His treatments may include prescription medicine or for qualified candidates Lasik surgery. Dr Chop will be seeing patients at our Watertown, Ogdensburg, and other locations.
