Physician Assistant
Jordan Hess received his Master’s Degree of Physician Assistant Studies from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors and was accepted into Pi Alpha, the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. Mr. Hess holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Hess has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army where he treated and managed patients from the battlefield to the hospital.
Mr. Hess is actively involved in clinical and surgical care of Center for Sight patients. Mr. Hess provides medical management and care of patients with a wide range of medical conditions to include dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Mr. Hess conducts triage, new patient referrals, urgent care appointments, and post-operation evaluations. Mr. Hess assists the surgeons on various surgical procedures, and performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Dysport, and filler injections.
Mr. Hess is one of only 94 physician assistants in the nation specializing in ophthalmology.
